Secure Upgrade Plus lets you trade in an older SonicWall firewall (or a competitive firewall you've owned for 6+ months) for a significant discount on a new unit with full APSS licensing. Your old SonicWall must be registered on MySonicWall. This is the most cost-effective upgrade path if you're replacing an existing firewall.

No. The High Availability unit is a secondary firewall that runs in Active/Standby mode and inherits the primary unit's security licenses. You only need to purchase the HA hardware — no additional APSS subscription is required. If the primary unit fails, the HA unit takes over automatically with zero downtime.

Yes. You can purchase APSS licenses separately at any time to add full security services to an Appliance Only unit. However, buying them bundled with TotalSecure Advanced Edition is typically more cost-effective than purchasing each service individually.
