Barracuda NG Firewalls are categorized in 8 different series. Each series has recommended number of network users that help administrators choose appropriate appliance according to the employee strength.

	Barracuda NG Firewall F10 – This security appliance is best for Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) setups where there are 5-10 users by providing the maximum of 0.15Gbps firewall, 85Mbps VPN and 60Mbps IPS throughputs. With the capability of handling up to 8000 concurrent sessions and up 1300 new sessions per second, Barracuda NG Firewall F10 provides efficient network security against external and internal threats. 	Barracuda NG Firewall F100 – This security appliance is best for offices with up to 10 users. Barracuda NG Firewall F100 has the maximum of 0.15Gbps firewall, 85Mbps VPN and 60Mbps IPS throughputs and is capable of handling up to 8000 concurrent sessions and up to 1500 new sessions per second. 	Barracuda NG Firewall F300 – This security appliance can be used in organizations that have 50-100 network users. By having maximum of 350Mbps (0.35Gbps) firewall, 269Mbps VPN and 84Mbps IPS throughputs, the device is capable of handling up to 70,000 concurrent sessions and up to 2500 new sessions per second. Wireless model (Barracuda NG Firewall F301) of the device also enables wireless communication between mobile and other wireless devices and the network. While using Barracuda NG Firewall F300/F301 security appliance, administrators are recommended to purchase additional paid subscriptions in order to enhance the efficiency of the device and allow it to secure the network more proficiently.
	Barracuda NG Firewall F400 – This security appliance is best for organizations that have up to 100 network users. By having maximum of 1.8Gbps firewall, 430Mbps VPN and 486Mbps IPS throughputs, the device is capable of handling up to 300,000 concurrent sessions and can provide high-speed data transmission over 6 x 1Gbps copper and up to 4 x 1Gb fiber SFP interfaces. 	Barracuda NG Firewall F600 – This appliance provides enterprise level security and is best for organizations that have up to 250 network users.
